TAP Pay User Addendum

Effective Date: March 25, 2026

This TAP Pay User Addendum (the “TAP Pay Addendum”) supplements the TAP Rewards Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and applies to your access to and use of TAP Pay, your TAP wallet, and any TAP Pay-related functionality made available to you through the TAP platform.

By creating, accessing, funding, or using a TAP wallet or TAP Pay, you agree to this TAP Pay Addendum. If you do not agree, do not use TAP Pay.

If there is a conflict between this TAP Pay Addendum and the Terms, this TAP Pay Addendum controls solely with respect to TAP Pay and your TAP wallet.

1. Scope and Applicability

This TAP Pay Addendum applies to users located in the European Union who access or use:

  • TAP Pay;

  • a TAP wallet;

  • wallet funding functionality;

  • TAP Pay checkout and merchant payment flows; and

  • related TAP Pay features made available by TAP from time to time.

TAP Pay is a feature of the TAP platform and remains subject to the Terms.

2. What TAP Pay Is

TAP Pay is TAP’s payment and wallet functionality within the TAP ecosystem. It allows eligible users to:

  • load value into a TAP wallet using approved funding methods;

  • use that wallet balance to pay participating TAP merchants;

  • use TAP Pay through static or dynamic TAP payment QR codes;

  • use wallet balance toward eligible purchases in the TAP network; and

  • receive certain TAP Pay-related rewards, offers, or benefits where available.

TAP Pay is intended for use only within the TAP ecosystem and subject to TAP’s rules, restrictions, and feature availability.

3. Important Nature of TAP Pay

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • TAP is not a bank.

  • TAP does not provide bank accounts, deposit accounts, checking accounts, savings accounts, or other banking services.

  • Your TAP wallet is not a bank account.

  • Your TAP wallet balance is not a deposit.

  • TAP does not make any representation or warranty that your wallet balance is equivalent to cash held in a bank account or safeguarded as such.

  • Your TAP wallet balance is a limited, closed-network balance that may only be used within the TAP ecosystem and only in ways TAP permits.

TAP Pay is not intended to function as a general-purpose payment account or unrestricted stored-money service.

4. Eligibility and Verification

To use TAP Pay, you must:

  • have an active TAP account;

  • be eligible to use the TAP platform under the Terms;

  • be located in a jurisdiction where TAP Pay is made available; and

  • satisfy any identity, compliance, security, or verification requirements TAP may impose from time to time.

TAP may require you to complete identity verification, account verification, transaction review, or other compliance steps at any time in connection with TAP Pay, your TAP wallet, or specific transactions.

TAP may deny, delay, suspend, limit, or terminate TAP Pay access if you do not complete required verification or if TAP determines additional review is necessary.

5. TAP Wallet

5.1 Wallet Creation

To use TAP Pay, you may need to create a TAP wallet within the TAP app.

At this time:

  • TAP wallets are denominated in EUR only.

TAP may change wallet availability, supported currencies, or wallet requirements at any time.

5.2 Wallet Balance

Your TAP wallet balance is the amount of value recorded in your wallet and available for eligible use within the TAP ecosystem, subject to:

  • transaction completion;

  • holds and reviews;

  • reversals;

  • errors;

  • fraud prevention;

  • merchant refunds;

  • wallet restrictions; and

  • any other TAP rules.

5.3 Non-Withdrawable

Your TAP wallet balance is non-withdrawable.

This means:

  • you may not withdraw wallet balance to a bank account;

  • you may not cash out your wallet balance;

  • you may not redeem your wallet balance for cash; and

  • you may not request payment of your wallet balance back to your original funding source.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, wallet balances are final once loaded and may only be used within the TAP ecosystem for permitted transactions.

TAP may, in its sole discretion, choose to reverse or adjust wallet balances in exceptional situations, but TAP has no obligation to do so except where required by law.

5.4 No Transfers

You may not transfer wallet balances:

  • to another user;

  • to another TAP wallet;

  • to a merchant directly outside a TAP transaction flow; or

  • in any other way unless TAP expressly enables that functionality.

6. Funding Your TAP Wallet

6.1 Approved Funding Methods

TAP may allow you to fund your TAP wallet using one or more of the following methods:

  • debit card;

  • credit card;

  • bank transfer;

  • SEPA transfer;

  • Apple Pay;

  • Google Pay;

  • Revolut RevTag; and

  • any other funding method TAP chooses to support.

Not all methods may be available to all users at all times.

6.2 Credit Card Funding Fee

TAP currently charges a fee when loading your TAP wallet by credit card.

No other wallet funding fees currently apply unless otherwise disclosed.

TAP may update or introduce TAP Pay fees from time to time in accordance with the Terms and applicable notices.

6.3 Funding Review

TAP may delay, reject, reverse, or restrict wallet funding transactions if TAP determines, in its sole discretion, that a funding transaction is:

  • suspicious;

  • unauthorized;

  • potentially fraudulent;

  • subject to compliance concerns;

  • technically invalid; or

  • otherwise inappropriate or impermissible.

6.4 Loaded Funds

Once a wallet funding transaction is accepted and posted to your TAP wallet, that wallet balance is subject to this TAP Pay Addendum, including the non-withdrawability and closed-network use restrictions described above.

7. Using TAP Pay to Pay a Merchant

TAP Pay may be used only with participating TAP merchants and only through TAP-supported payment flows.

7.1 Static Payment QR Codes

A merchant may display a static TAP payment QR code (sometimes referred to as a “Pay Me” QR code). In that case:

  • you scan the QR using the TAP app;

  • your device should show the merchant name;

  • you enter the payment amount yourself;

  • you review the amount and merchant name; and

  • you confirm the payment.

7.2 Dynamic Payment QR Codes

A merchant may display a dynamic TAP payment QR code generated on a merchant device. In that case:

  • you scan the QR using the TAP app;

  • your device should show the merchant name;

  • the amount should already appear because it was set by the merchant;

  • you review the amount and merchant name; and

  • you confirm the payment.

7.3 Merchant Name

For both static and dynamic QR flows:

  • the merchant name should appear on your device before you confirm payment.

You are responsible for reviewing the merchant name and payment amount before authorizing the payment.

If the merchant name shown in TAP does not match the merchant you intend to pay, do not proceed.

7.4 TAP Scanner Only

You must use the TAP scanner within the TAP app to scan TAP Pay QR codes.

Only TAP QR codes may be used with the TAP scanner.

8. Payment Authorization

By confirming a TAP Pay transaction, you authorize TAP to:

  • debit your TAP wallet balance for the amount of the transaction;

  • apply any eligible wallet balance, store credit, or other TAP-supported value in accordance with TAP rules;

  • record the transaction in your TAP account and wallet history; and

  • process the transaction within the TAP ecosystem.

All confirmed TAP Pay transactions are final except as otherwise expressly provided by TAP or required by law.

9. Partial Payments

If your TAP wallet balance or other eligible TAP value does not cover the full transaction amount, you may be able to complete a partial payment through TAP.

In that case:

  • TAP will apply the available eligible TAP wallet balance or other TAP-supported value; and

  • you will pay the remaining balance directly to the merchant outside TAP, such as by card or cash.

TAP is not responsible for the non-TAP portion of any partial payment.

10. What May Be Applied Automatically

When you pay with TAP Pay, TAP may automatically apply, where eligible and available:

  • TAP wallet balance;

  • merchant-specific credit;

  • discounts;

  • payment-related promotions; or

  • other supported value recognized by TAP.

The order and eligibility of such application may be determined by TAP in its sole discretion.

11. Transaction History and Records

Your wallet and TAP account may display:

  • wallet funding history;

  • TAP Pay transaction history;

  • pending and completed transactions;

  • reversals;

  • refunds; and

  • related TAP Pay activity.

These records are provided for convenience and reference. TAP may correct errors, update records, reclassify transactions, or adjust balances as needed.

12. Refunds, Reversals, and Merchant Disputes

12.1 Merchant Responsibility

All disputes relating to:

  • goods or services purchased from a merchant;

  • merchant fulfillment;

  • product quality;

  • service quality;

  • merchant pricing;

  • merchant conduct; or

  • merchant-side refunds

must be addressed directly with the merchant.

TAP acts as the platform layer and is not the seller of merchant goods or services.

12.2 Refund Path

If a merchant agrees to issue a refund for a TAP Pay transaction, the refund will be processed back to your TAP wallet balance.

Refunds will not be returned to your original funding source.

12.3 Merchant-Initiated Reversal Process

The merchant must contact TAP and request reversal of the charge. TAP may review and process the requested reversal in accordance with TAP procedures and policies.

TAP has no obligation to process any reversal unless and until the merchant requests it and TAP approves it.

12.4 No Obligation to Resolve Merchant Disputes

TAP may assist in reviewing transaction issues, but TAP is not responsible for resolving underlying merchant disputes and does not guarantee any refund or reversal outcome.

13. Errors, Failed Transactions, and Unauthorized Activity

If you believe:

  • a TAP Pay transaction was processed incorrectly;

  • an amount was wrong;

  • a transaction is missing;

  • your wallet balance is incorrect; or

  • your TAP wallet has been used without authorization,

you must notify TAP promptly at team@gettaprewards.com.

TAP may investigate and may, in its sole discretion:

  • review transaction records;

  • request additional information;

  • place holds on wallet activity;

  • reverse transactions;

  • adjust wallet balances;

  • suspend TAP Pay access; or

  • deny the claim if TAP determines the records do not support it.

14. Reversals, Chargebacks, and Wallet Adjustments

TAP may reverse, reduce, freeze, or adjust your TAP wallet balance and TAP Pay-related benefits if TAP determines that:

  • a funding transaction was reversed, disputed, or charged back;

  • a merchant transaction was refunded or reversed;

  • a transaction was fraudulent or unauthorized;

  • a transaction was invalid or erroneous;

  • a reward or credit was applied incorrectly; or

  • a compliance, legal, or operational concern exists.

TAP may also:

  • suspend TAP Pay access;

  • offset future wallet activity;

  • revoke or reverse points or rewards connected to the affected transaction; and

  • limit your use of TAP Pay pending review.

15. TAP Points and TAP Pay

15.1 Points Linked to TAP Pay

When using TAP Pay, you may be eligible to earn:

  • TAP points;

  • merchant-related TAP offers;

  • or both,

depending on merchant participation and TAP rules.

15.2 No Guarantee of Any Particular Reward

TAP does not guarantee that every TAP Pay transaction will earn points, credits, or rewards.

Point earning remains subject to:

  • merchant eligibility;

  • transaction validity;

  • TAP verification;

  • campaign rules;

  • feature availability; and

  • the Terms.

15.3 Reversal of Points

If a TAP Pay transaction is refunded, reversed, invalidated, disputed, or found to be fraudulent or erroneous, TAP may revoke, reverse, or adjust any points or rewards associated with that transaction.

16. Prohibited Uses of TAP Pay

You may not use TAP Pay to:

  • engage in fraud;

  • manipulate rewards, points, or wallet balances;

  • create fake, sham, or circular transactions;

  • attempt to cash out or convert wallet balance outside TAP rules;

  • transfer value to others outside permitted flows;

  • exploit system errors;

  • use stolen payment methods; or

  • engage in any conduct TAP considers abusive, deceptive, or harmful.

TAP may suspend or terminate TAP Pay access for any such conduct.

17. Compliance, Security, and Review Rights

TAP may monitor, review, limit, suspend, or terminate your access to TAP Pay or your wallet at any time and for any reason, including for:

  • fraud or suspected fraud;

  • compliance review;

  • identity verification concerns;

  • suspicious activity;

  • misuse of TAP Pay;

  • legal or regulatory concerns;

  • chargebacks or reversals;

  • security concerns;

  • inactivity; or

  • any other reason TAP deems appropriate.

TAP may require additional information from you at any time in connection with TAP Pay.

18. No Guarantee of Availability

TAP does not guarantee that TAP Pay will be:

  • continuously available;

  • accepted by all merchants;

  • available in all locations;

  • error-free;

  • uninterrupted; or

  • free from delay.

TAP may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue TAP Pay or any TAP Pay feature at any time.

19. Fees

Currently:

  • TAP charges a fee when loading your TAP wallet by credit card;

  • no other TAP Pay user fees apply unless otherwise disclosed.

TAP may introduce or change TAP Pay-related fees from time to time in accordance with the Terms and applicable notices.

Any fees may be disclosed:

  • in the app;

  • on the website;

  • by email;

  • at the time of transaction; or

  • in TAP policies or help materials.

20. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • reviewing the merchant name before confirming a payment;

  • reviewing the payment amount before confirming a payment;

  • using only valid and authorized funding methods;

  • keeping your account and device secure;

  • promptly reporting errors or suspected unauthorized activity;

  • complying with TAP rules and applicable law.

You are also responsible for ensuring you understand that wallet balance is:

  • limited to the TAP ecosystem;

  • non-withdrawable; and

  • subject to reversals and adjustments under these Terms.

21. No Bank, No Financial Advice, No Warranty

TAP is not a bank, not a deposit-taking institution, and not your financial adviser.

TAP does not provide:

  • banking services;

  • savings products;

  • financial advice;

  • guaranteed funds storage; or

  • any promise that TAP Pay or your wallet balance is suitable for your personal financial needs.

TAP Pay is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, subject to the disclaimers and liability limitations in the Terms.

22. Liability, Disclaimer, and Indemnity

All limitation-of-liability, disclaimer, indemnity, and dispute-resolution provisions in the Terms apply fully to TAP Pay and your TAP wallet.

Without limiting the foregoing, TAP is not responsible for:

  • merchant goods or services;

  • merchant refunds;

  • merchant disputes;

  • failed merchant-side fulfillment;

  • third-party funding provider errors;

  • delays or disruptions in TAP Pay;

  • chargebacks, reversals, or restrictions imposed under these Terms; or

  • any inability to access or use TAP Pay.

23. Changes to TAP Pay

TAP may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue TAP Pay, your wallet, funding methods, payment flows, and TAP Pay-related features at any time.

TAP may also modify this TAP Pay Addendum in accordance with the Terms.

Your continued use of TAP Pay after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised TAP Pay Addendum.
